Naazhi is the smallest of the measuring vessels associated with the rice-paddy system in Kerala
  
4 Naazhi = 1 Idangazhi ;10 Idangazhi = 1 Para ; 7 Para = 1 Sack ; 10 Sacks = 1 Cartload (a bullock cart can draw in olden days). In olden days (till 6-7 yrs back) paddy was traded in terms of cartload. Time has taken away these measures and these days it is traded in kilograms.
